CLASS 1: “You Can Do It!” FOOD STORAGE CLASS
In this 1 hour class, I will teach the 4-Step Approach to Home Storage based on the “All Is Safely Gathered In: Home Storage” pamphlet from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormons). I’ll share how I gather food storage year-round using my preparedness lists and other emergency preparedness tips. Come away from this class knowing you CAN begin gathering food storage and keep doing it! I DO NOT believe in extreme prepping, or doomsday prophesies. I DO believe in building your food storage and emergency supplies slowly so you can live within your means.
CLASS 2: “No Man (or Woman) is an Island” MINI DISASTER PREP DRILL
In this 1 hour class, I will organize you into four different groups and help you plan for a mock disaster. This is not a full-blown emergency drill. Rather you will spend time discussing with your neighbors how to handle a mock disaster. Come away from this class knowing you CAN work together as neighbors, and feel more confident you CAN deal with an emergency.
I do not represent any companies, nor do I sell gadgets and gizmos a-plenty or whozits and whatzits galore. Review my blog and you’ll know what I believe.
COST: No charge
HANDOUTS: Will be emailed to the ward representative to preview and copy for class members.

I just left a comment, but thought of a question; You are willing to be a speaking engagement for 75 or more women? What would it take to get you to come to Springfield, Mo? I would love to present this to my stake about having you come here to speak. Just need to know what I need to do.

I have a fairly new calling as food storage specialist. It’s all so new to me. I prayed for help to get started. Janet, one of my RS councilors, gave me some info to help me get started. I noticed the preparedldsfamily.blogspot.com address on one of the papers she gave me. I’m finding such wonderful info to share with my sisters. I would like to know how I can get copies of the printouts mentioned. (I think from the classes.) I would like to have them to share with my sisters at my ward. The info I have found is so wonderful. So the info from the printouts is probably something even more wonderful to have to share. I would appreciate any thing that would help me do my calling. I am a member in Marshfield, Mo ward. The Springfield, Mo stake.
