While you are Christmas shopping, the second prep challenge in December is to buy liquid dish soap and hand soap for your home storage. We saw liquid hand soap disappear during the pandemic because people were washing their hands more often. Perhaps buy a year’s supply of these items to be prepared in case they disappear again. Or if storage space is limited in your home, a large liquid soap refill. You will see these items on clearance after Christmas which is an added bonus! They may have a Christmas label on the bottles, but you can always transfer the liquid into your own bottles.
1. Buy Liquid Dish Soap and Hand Soap
First, check your home supplies since you may already have enough of these items. If not decide how many bottles you want. It’s amazing how far a large bottle of liquid dish soap goes. If the power goes out and you can’t use your dishwasher, at least you will have a way to wash your dishes.
- liquid dish soap
- liquid hand soap
- and while your at it, buy some lotion too!
That’s it! Just buy liquid dish soap and hand soap this week. I hope you can handle that.
Merry Christmas and stay healthy,
The Food Storage Organizer
