Sample Printable Family Preparedness Plan for LDS Ward Newsletters

For those of you who follow PreparedLDSFamily, here is a sample Family Preparedness Plan my own ward will be adding to our Relief Society newsletter starting in September. These food storage and emergency preparedness goals are based on my monthly food storage lists, but this format is easier to copy and paste into a church newsletter. Those of you who are not LDS are welcome to use these goals as well.

When people have weekly goals, it’s much easier for them to achieve their preparedness goals. The first four steps are based on the LDS Church pamphlet “All Is Safely Gathered In: Family Home Storage” which simplifies preparedness. For more information, go to my Start Here page.

How To Use
Since this is a Word document, you may copy and paste a paragraph each week. So, you would coordinate like this:

Sunday, September 1 – Week #36
Sunday, September 8 – Week #37
Sunday, September 15 – Week #38
Sunday, September 22 – Week #39
Sunday, September 29 – Week #40

Sorry I don’t have the whole year yet, but I am working on something similar for my book, “The Food Storage Organizer.” Let me know what you think.
