Food Storage

It’s important to keep food storage simple by focusing on a 3-month supply of pantry shelf foods you already eat and emergency water. Then little by little gather long-term foods you can afford. If you live in a tiny home, gather less. If you live in a larger home, gather more. Make this work for your family. Everyone will do it differently and that’s okay.

If you can’t eat wheat, gather what you CAN eat. If you like organic foods, find some shelf-stable ones and store extra in your pantry. Certainly you can add food to your freezer, but work hard to gather shelf-stable foods first so you have food to eat in case of power outages or disasters.

May food storage a natural part of your everyday life.
