Our fourth November prep challenge is to buy laundry supplies for emergencies or regular use. After an extended power outage, you may need to wash clothes by hand and hang them to dry. Or there could be a laundry detergent shortage, so keep extra laundry supplies on hand. Look over the supply list below to see if there is something to add to your grocery list.

Buy Emergency Laundry Supplies
You can wash clothes in a sink and drain dirty water in the bathtub. Or wash your clothes in a bucket if your bathtub drain is not working. Do you have some water stored to wash clothes after a disaster? Other ideas:
- bucket or washboard with washtub
- rubber gloves (to protect hands)
- laundry detergent
- stain remover
- fabric softener
- vinegar
- clothesline & clothespins
- Or clothes drying rack

I hope you’ll take on this challenge and buy emergency laundry supplies.
