The fourth prep challenge in December is to buy dish soap and hand soap for your home storage. We saw liquid hand soap disappear during the pandemic because people were washing their hands more. Perhaps buy a year’s supply of these items to be prepared in case that happens again. Or if your storage space is limited, buy large refills. Hand soap with a Christmas label will go on clearance the day after Christmas! Just transfer that liquid into your own bottles.

First, check your inventory of the supplies below and decide how many you need. It’s amazing how far a large bottle of liquid dish soap goes. If the power goes out and you can’t use your dishwasher, at least you can wash dishes by hand.
