In 2007, this newly married couple found out that Daniel had cancer. Though their trials are not easy, Daniel and Melanie (Southwick) Hedlund have shared their experiences with many in an effort to lift and encourage. They inspire us and teach us that faith in Jesus Christ is the calming force in our lives, no matter what the trial. Daniel is currently a seminary teacher in Layton, Utah.
