Participate in the “My Grain Mill Is The Best” Poll

Let’s find out which electric grain mill my readers think is the best. I have a lot of readers who are new to food storage. Those of you who have been using an electric grain mill for awhile can really help them as they decide what type of electric grain mill to purchase. Please Participate in the PreparedLDSFamily “My Grain Mill Is the Best” poll on the right sidebar. Also, tell us why you think your grain mill is the best. Then, at the end of the poll, I will compile all comments and the poll results in a post.

Please vote on the right sidebar and add your comments to this post!

  1. I have a Whisper Mill, and I really like it, but have been told that the company sold out and has changed it's name to something very similar. It does a great job of grinding fine, medium and course flour, and is very fast and clean, unless you forget to plug in the bowl attachment properly to the mill, which I did one day when I got distracted for one tiny second. That little error resulted in very fine flour dust all over my kitchen. Nothing fast and clean about that mess! Jan

  2. I used my grandma's k-tec for years. I do have to say it worked great, but it was so loud, and the seals got bad and I felt it was messy. I finally saved and got a wondermill for my birthday one year and I must say I love how much quieter and cleaner it is. I know use it several times a week rather than once a month. I Love it.

  3. my mom has had her k-tec for over 15 years, and it's great! so I bought the same kind. I love the see through flour bin, I love the storage (flip over the top) and I love the durability… 7 kids, 5 loaves of bread, often, 15 years, and still going strong.

  4. OH I've been trying to decide which one to buy for a while now. I have 2 buckets of wheat and no grinder. I just got a bonus at work so now I just need to know which one is the best. 🙂 Thanks for the poll, I'll be keeping an eye on it!!Chris

  5. I have the KitchenAid Grain Mill attachment and LOVE it! It grinds from super fine to coarse, attaches right to my KitchenAid mixer, and is small and easily stored.

  6. I love my Wonder Mill! So quiet. Large flour bin. Grinds beans too. And I have the option of grinding from pastry flour all the way to course flour. Easy clean up. It sits on my counter and I use it all the time!

  7. I love my Nutrimill! Its quiet and really easy to use. It can grind to a fine, medium or course flour, which I use all three choices at one time or another!

  8. I have a WhisperMill, and I really have no complaints about how it works, but I really, really want a Nutrimill. 🙂 So I voted for that one.

  9. Love my Nutri-Mill! I've had it for about 3 years…quiet, powerful and fast! Can do 20 cups of flour. Can grind beans as well! I HAD a K-Tec. It was super noisy! Nutri-Mill is my choice for an electric grain mill! I like it so much I started selling them from home!
